After weeks of dramatic bellyaching on the topic, I finally got the judges' score sheets from the writing contest that I entered. It turns out that there were over two hundred submissions, and in the first round each was read by two members of the Chick Lit Writers of the World. I'm not a finalist for the writing contest. Which is fine. But even though they promised not to post the finalists until everyone had been notified about their submission, I haven't heard a peep from them. There's supposed to be a fairly intensive review worksheet from the judges--which is 90% of why I entered. Only I'm apparently not getting one ( Read more... )
